Just wanted to share my experience working with Lee (Peak Athlete) I’ve just finished a 6 week block. Lee has been a great help, we started from the beginning I’ve done absolutely no fitness training or gym work in my life and I am 47.  I’m out on my bike twice a week and I also have a very physical job carpet fitting, my body just felt tight all the time. Lee gave me an assessment and I’ve just completed 12 sessions concentrating on stretching movements, core,  weights and just better form . I’m already feeling better and will continue to work with Lee to help me on the bike and also at work. I’m now going to be doing some 30 min home workouts and see Lee in his gym for some one to one sessions . I highly recommend Lee and it’s definitely worth it, give him a shout!

I’ve been training with Lee for a couple of years now as I have been wanting to progress my ultra running fitness/race times. I had planned on completing another ultramarathon but was struggling through an injury. Lee provided me with a progressive programme to support my recovery and kept it interesting with varied sessions throughout the week. Lee’s knowledge and enthusiasm is totally infectious and he motivated me to keep going throughout my journey. I managed to take 30 mins off my previous race times and I was delighted with my result. Since then we have been working on my mobility issues to prevent unnecessary injuries and I’m taking the time to sort these issues. Lee has a very relaxed vibe which has always made me feel at ease during our sessions and I couldn’t recommend him more 😊

The programme was perfect for me and my current lifestyle; the frequency of the workouts were high but they were short in duration meaning I could get them done easily either side of work and family commitments. The workouts covered all areas of conditioning required to improve my performance of the bike; mobility, stability, strength, power and cardio fitness. The workouts are well delivered through the app, instructional videos are clear and informative. The programme suited my small home gym set up (couple of dumbbells and kettlebells), I was able to improvise where needed.


Having completed a range of tests pre and and post programme I have seen a significant improvement in my mobility, core and whole body strength and fitness as well as an improvement in motivation, focus and mental clarity. I feel much more confident, mobile and strong on the bike and most importantly this is showing in the Strava times!


I would recommend this programme to anyone looking to improve performance on their MTB and who has a basic training history and understanding of S&C. (I believe there is a regular 8 week programme if you lack S&C experience).


In my opinion just riding your bike will only get you so far; take your riding to the next level with Lee and Peak Athlete; the man knows his stuff and has been extremely supportive throughout the process. I look forward to working with him in the future to continue to work on my weaknesses and improve performance.

Just completed the 8 weeks advance MTB program with Peak Athlete and am over the moon with the results I have achieved!
I went from being the person that stopped to walk to now powering in front on the up climbs. Having the endurance and the legs to get to the top with plenty left in the tank for the descent. Throw in the extra stability and range of movement I now have and my speed on the bike is increasing weekly, both going up and coming down.
My riding has improved dramatically after the 8 weeks and can't thank Lee enough. This plan is everything you need if you are wanting to improve your riding and make a change to a healthier life style.
The plan was all through an app which is real easy to follow and keep track on your progress . Each week you complete a check in. Where Lee is at hand to give you any advice and help you might need.
Also the meal plan I did alongside it resulted in an added bonus of losing a stone in weight. Good tasting meals does make eating healthy and clean more enjoyable.
Looking forward to continuing my journey with Peak Athlete and hoping to enter a couple of Enduro races this year which will be the ultimate test for me.

I decided to start Lee's mtb 8 week foundation programme after Christmas. I was feeling lethargic, more unfit and was lacking motivation to ride.
Lee's programme was accessible, productive and flexible. It helped me to adopt a routine which made me feel stronger, healthier and fitter.
This in turn made me feel more confident on my bike!
Lee was supportive and always happy to give me time to answer my questions and help me with any difficulties I had. I feel I have learnt from the programme that I can take forward into my future.

After an assessment of my overall strength and mobility, Lee put together a training plan that helped to improve my areas of weakness and build a strong foundation for further training.

At the ripe old age of 66 about to turn 67, my son and family gave me a voucher for an assessment plus 6 sessions with Lee for Christmas 2020. There was a condition that I had to use it by March and it was non refundable or transferable.


After a major health issue and a new hip, when I had my assessment, I was that ‘old woman’ that had accepted that old age doesn’t come alone. 


4 months on after 2 sessions a week I've gone from hardly being able to do anything, even getting off the floor, standing up without using my arms and walking with bad posture to a complete transformation.


I an amazed at the change in me. I get off the floor unaided, I now stand up without any assistance and my posture has changed. My stamina has improved and I am horse riding again, which was my main aim.


Lee motivates me to be the best I can be (and there is still a long way to go). This granny is now living instead of existing. Thank you Lee and, of course son and family!

I initially contacted Lee for advice and decided to go for a programme which best suited me, as I am a keen mountain biker I wanted to better my fitness levels.


The 8 week programme was just what I was looking for. With the programme there were videos showing how to do each session correctly, which was extremely beneficial. The sessions everyday are good and don't take up too much of your time and even in 4 weeks, I could see my strength and mobility increase whilst on the bike. 


Also Lee kept in touch throughout which was helpfully. I was required to complete a weekly report on how I was getting on, this was analysed and Lee got back with potential changes or how I could adapt it.


After the 8 weeks were completed I feel my fitness have greatly improved.


Overall Lee is a genuine guy that listens to what you actually need, can't recommend him enough 5 ⭐

I went to Lee for some help improving my strength for climbing.  I had been trying to do some stuff myself but it lacked focus and I don't have the specialist knowledge about which exercises are most beneficial.  I worked with Lee for just a few sessions so he could assess my current capabilities and then he was able to set me up with a programme I could continue with at home on my own.  I really liked the way Lee took the time to understand what I wanted overall and what facilities I had access to.  I also really appreciated his relaxed style when in the gym.  I need to keep up with my tailored 'at home' sessions but already feel stronger and more confident on the climbing wall.
